Our collective sponsorship program is temporarily suspended. This will be for a temporary period of time. If you would like to sponsor members of your family, you can do so through Immigration Quebec’s program entitled “Group of two to five persons”. Please follow instruction on this link.

With the collaboration of the Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion Ministry of the government of Quebec, Hay Doun has signed a partnership agreement allowing us to sponsor refugees who want to establish themselves in Quebec.
Since 2008 we have successfully sponsored over 45 Iraqi refugee families. Many families are still waiting for their documents in order to immigrate to Quebec.
The Syrian crisis has impelled Hay Doun to sponsor these families who are presently living in unbearable conditions. Since 2014, we have welcomed over 2500 Syrian refugees. We were the first and only organization in Canada and Quebec to have sponsored so many refugees in such a short period of time. As a result the Minister of MIDI, Kathleen Weil, publicly thanked and recognized Hay Doun as a model organization in this portfolio.
Hay Doun is responsible for all integration issues relating to each family; from housing, employment, schooling/tutoring to community integration. This program responds to the values of solidarity on which the organization is founded on.
Additionally, it is through various collaborations that we help these families integrate into their new society. This program is a success, given the great community mobilization and support at all levels.
